Types of Banner Advertising

We offer flat monthly or multi-month rates on our banners. You can target your banner throughout the site or you can select them to be posted specific provinces or territories. We are selective regarding the types of organizations who advertise with us. Your firm must clearly be promoting products or services that target professional educators.

Types & Dimensions of Banners

There are two general types of banners ads: top and side.

Top Banners:

The top banner is placed at the very top of all the pages withing Education Canada Network. The dimensions of the top banner is 728 x 90 pixels. Acceptable formats include gif, jpg, animated gif or flash. The maximum size for a top banner is to be 75K.

Side Banners:

The side banner is placed within the left-hand column of Education Canada. There are two different types of side banners: button (120x90) and skyscraper (120x600). There are two button ads, which are above and below the skyscrapper ad. The maximum size for a button banners is to be 20K. The maximum size for a skyscraper banner is to be 75K. Acceptable formats include gif, jpg, animated gif or flash.
